90East Winter 2012

[8 Dec 2012]

The 90East Winter 2012 Collection is now available. This season we have four headwear items, six tees, and two hoodies. The first headwear items are the Trademark beanies which are a chunky knit beanie bearing the 90East Trademark woven label on the front. The Trademark Beanie is available in olive, black, or grey. The next headwear item is the Logo snapback in the Midnight colorway which is a subtle black on black. For the tees we have the Watch Your Step Tee and the CAYPE Tee. The Watch Your Step Tee is inspired by the various sewer caps that can be seen beneath your feet and wheels in the city of Boston. Every city has its own assortment of sewer cap designs that are interesting but are easily over looked if you dont watch your step. Next we have the CAYPE tee which is a take on our name and logo drawn out by the infamous Boston graffiti writer of the same name. More about the CAYPE tee can be seen here. Finally we have the Logo Hoodie available in two colors. For the hoodie we focused on finding the best fit and weight to keep you warm as well as provide a long lasting proper fit.

All of the Winter 2012 goods are available here in our own online shop and at our list of selected dealers. Thank you for your continued support. -90East

Jake Frost for 90East

[1 Oct 2012]

Jake has been a part of the 90East brand from the very beginning. His contributions to 90East range from filming, printing, giving input on product development, and of course riding. Jake has had parts in both of our full length videos. His riding shows appreciation for the more intricate pieces of the street landscape. Here is a new promo featuring clips from a recent trip to Ohio that were compiled for the release of our Storrow handlebars. Thanks to Brandon Galosi for the filming. Enjoy. -90East

90East Fall 2012

[19 Sep 2012]

The 90East Fall 2012 release is now available. For this release we have four headwear items, four tees, two crewnecks and our first BMX hardgood. First we have the new logo snapbacks which are available in a simple black or a Red Sox inspired navy and red combo. The second headwear release is our Trademark 5-panel hats. These hats are available in black or grey and feature a woven label stating who we are, what we do and where we are from. Our tee shirt release this time around consists of the Braves tee available as a baseball tee in two colorways or a regular tee in two colors. The Braves tee is inspired by the 1914 Boston Braves who came from last place in the league to sweep the world series that year. Since fall is starting we also have a logo crewneck available in two colors to keep those october nights warm. Finally, we have our first hardgood release, the Storrow handlebars which are named after a major thruway in the city of Boston. 90East Storrow Bars

[19 Sep 2012]

We are proud to introduce our first BMX hardgood, the 90East Storrow Handlebars. As this is our first hardgood we wanted to make something no nonsense and simple, something for people who ride their bike instead of weigh it. Our whole crew had input when it came to the size and angles. We opted to go with with an 8.25″ rise and a 28″ width because its hard to grind around things and weave through rush hour city traffic with 30″ wide bars. As for sweep they have 11˚ of backsweep and 4˚ of upsweep to keep the hands and arms in a comfortable position. The tubing is heat treated straight guage 4130 chromoly with a 0.65″ wall diameter on both tubes to keep them from denting and allow a long life. As for color they are available in satin black only, weigh 35oz and are made in the USA. The name comes from Storrow drive which is a main thruway that runs along the Charles River in Boston. The Storrow bars are now available in our online shop and at our selected dealers. Thank you for your support and enjoy the ride. -90East
